On June 13, a folk culture experience event of the themed series Zhanjiang through Foreign Eyes kicked off in Liangdong Town, Lianjiang, Zhanjiang. Foreign employees of Zhanjiang-based companies, overseas experts, and other international friends visited the countryside to take part in hands-on activities such as tea stir-frying and brewing, zongzi making, and fruit picking.

Blending Dragon Boat Festival traditions with the local tea industry and rural leisure tourism, the event helped foreign friends gain a deep understanding of traditional Chinese festival culture. It also showcased Lianjiang's strengths in integrating agriculture, culture, and tourism. Using folk customs as a cultural bridge, the event fostered friendly exchanges between Chinese and international participants and highlighted Zhanjiang's openness, inclusiveness, and diverse appeal.
