"Qinxun World" Incubation Base to launch in Hengqin, seeking tech content creators globally

Hengqin Talent Group and Tencent have jointly unveiled the "Qinxun World" Incubation Base, a dedicated hub designed to be the "first stop" for global tech creators entering China. The base will focus on recruiting two groups of talents: tech content creators (from Portuguese-, Spanish-, and English-speaking countries) and young developers specializing in AI and big data.

The strategic agreement was officially signed at the Tencent Building in Binhai, Shenzhen, on June 8. Unlike ordinary study tours, the base offers hands-on support, including professional training, content co-creation, business incubation, and global exposure.

Leveraging Tencent's digital ecosystem, featuring products like Tencent Yuanbao, the Hunyuan large model, and CodeBuddy, the base builds on the "Future Close-Up" project co-launched by the CICG Center for the Americas and Tencent, which has already connected young professionals from 35 countries.

The base will also establish a "Hengqin International Creator Talent Pool," encouraging outstanding creators to register and set up their businesses in Hengqin. The ultimate goal is to boost the global profile of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone and strengthen the "Macao+Hengqin" profile as a tech innovation hub.
