On February 2nd, local time in the UK, the annual London "Spring Festival Celebrations" took place. The floats from Chancheng District of Foshan also joined the parade, showcasing Lingnan culture and conveying Foshan's blessings to the overseas audience.

The London "Spring Festival Celebrations" is organized by the London Chinatown Chamber of Commerce (LCCA) and is the largest Chinese New Year celebration outside of Asia.

At 10 a.m. that morning, more than 50 parade contingents set off from Trafalgar Square in the city center, passing through Charing Cross, Leicester Square Station, Shaftesbury Avenue, Wardour Street, and other locations. The contingents moved slowly along the route, with tens of thousands of residents and tourists lining the streets, creating a joyful atmosphere.

Five floats gifted by Chancheng District of Foshan attracted the attention of passers-by throughout the parade. Among them, one float is modeled after the Foshan Tongji Bridge archway, while another features a vibrant and youthful Cantonese opera Dan role head sculpture, vividly showcasing Foshan's Cantonese opera culture.

During the parade, the Medway Chinese Foshan Chancheng Friendship Association led a group of overseas Chinese and fellow townspeople in dragon and lion dances alongside the floats, spreading the rich Lingnan festive spirit to the world.
