A month-long cycling campaign is set to begin in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin on July 12, inviting residents to explore the island's waterfront by bike and take part in low-carbon and environmental activities.

The launch ceremony is scheduled for July 12, from 8:50 am to 9:30 am, at Rest Station No. 1 along the Hengqin Flower Sea Corridor, weather permitting. The campaign will continue through August 12, allowing participants to complete the route and challenges at any time during the month.

The first 100 registered participants who attend the opening event will receive a one-week shared bike pass and a Macao Pass card for the 2026 Hengqin-Macao Camping Festival, on a first-come, first-served basis.

The campaign centers on two main activities. Participants can enter an online prize draw by scanning the on-site QR code, with additional chances available for those who complete cycling tasks or follow the event's official social media account. Prizes include cycling accessories, reusable bottles, umbrellas, rain gear, bags, and shared bike pass vouchers.

Cyclists can also take a roughly six-kilometer route linking seven scenic checkpoints. At each stop, they can complete interactive environmental activities such as quizzes, recycling games, and sustainability challenges. By completing the tasks, they earn carbon points that can be redeemed for cultural merchandise, discount vouchers, event slots, and attraction tickets.

On the opening day, participants who complete activities at a minimum of five checkpoints and share the event will receive an additional lucky-draw entry. Prizes include umbrellas, folding stools, sun hats, eco-friendly bags, and ticket vouchers for the Macao Science Center.
