As of 7 AM on January 6, orange alerts for cold waves have been issued across several parts of Guangdong. Over the next three days, weak cold fronts will continue to affect the province, bringing a slight drop in temperatures.
From January 6 to 7, most parts of Guangdong will see clear to partly cloudy skies. The lowest temperatures will range from 3 to 6 °C in northern Guangdong and northern areas of the Pearl River Delta, 10 to 12 °C in southern coastal cities, and 7 to 10 °C in other regions.
On January 8, most of Guangdong will be partly cloudy, with the lowest temperatures ranging from 5 to 8 °C in the northernmost areas of Guangdong, 11 to 14 °C in western Guangdong, the Pearl River Delta, and eastern regions, and 9 to 11 °C in other areas.

Guangzhou will experience big day-night temperature differences over the next few days. Stay warm during the cooler mornings and evenings. Midweek, colder air will bring another dip in temperatures, but the weather will remain generally dry.
