All 11 airlines currently operating from Terminal 1 at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport will be relocated to Terminal 3 starting at 2:00 a.m. on May 7, as part of a major airport-wide operational adjustment.
The affected airlines include Air China, Shenzhen Airlines, Kunming Airlines, Shandong Airlines, Tibet Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Capital Airlines, Tianjin Airlines, West Air, Urumqi Air and Lucky Air. All passenger services, including departures and arrivals, for these carriers will be handled exclusively at Terminal 3. Terminal 1 will no longer serve any of them.
The adjustment also applies to overnight flights arriving on May 6, which will be processed at Terminal 3.
Alongside the terminal shift, several ground transportation and parking arrangements will be adjusted:
● Parking areas at Terminal 1 (P1, P2, P3, P4) will be closed due to operational adjustments.
● From May 7, the "Airport South (T1 Terminal)" metro station and the "Baiyun Airport South Station (T1)" intercity rail station will become non-stopping stations.
● During the transition period (May 7-14 ), the airport will run a 24-hour inter-terminal shuttle service for vehicle pickup: T3 services run every 30 minutes, while T2 services operate on demand, facilitating passengers to travel between T2, T3, and T1 parking areas.
