On November 20th (the first day of the tenth lunar month), Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County in Shaoguan launched the activities for the Yao ethnic group's "Shiyuezhao" Festival at the World Cross-Mountain Yao Customs Garden. Distinguished guests, tourists, and compatriots from the Yao and Han ethnic groups gathered to celebrate this traditional festival with unique Yao cultural elements.

During the event, a variety of programs were held in sequence, including the Panwang Memorial Ceremony, a folk culture and art parade, a fun sports meet featuring traditional ethnic sports, an exhibition and sale of "quality products from Yao villages" (local agricultural and specialty products), and a folk song concert titled "Long Songs of Yao Mountains · Resonating in Ruyuan." The content was rich and diverse, the scenes were brilliant and dazzling, and the atmosphere was warm and joyful.

Festival activities serve as a medium and a bridge for interaction and communication. According to statistics, since the opening of the series of activities for Ruyuan Yao's "Shiyuezhao" Festival, the number of tourists at various scenic spots has remained high. From November 20th to 23rd, the county received a total of 83,000 tourists, driving tourism consumption to nearly 50 million yuan, and the occupancy rate of mid-to-high-end homestays reached 100%.

Driven by the "Shiyuezhao" Festival, the total consumption volume of Ruyuan's tourism and culture has expanded further, transforming "Yao culture" into "Yao economy" and promoting the high-quality development of ethnic minority areas.
