China Railway Guangzhou Group to add 64 high-speed trains this weekend

According to China Railway Guangzhou Group, this weekend (July 13-14) will see a small peak in traffic flow, with an expected 1.8 million trips. To offer better travel services to passengers, China Railway Guangzhou Group will add 64 high-speed trains on routes including Beijing-Guangzhou, Beijing-Kowloon, Shanghai-Kunming, Hangzhou-Shenzhen, and Guangzhou-Shanwei directions, among which 22 are night high-speed trains.

In terms of the Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, 28 additional trains will be operated between July 12 and 15. Among them, 18 night high-speed trains will operate on July 12 and 14. They include eight trains from Shenzhen North Railway Station to Changsha South Railway Station, two trains from Shenzhen North Railway Station to Yueyang East Railway Station, two trains from Shenzhen Pingshan to Changsha South Railway Station, four trains from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Changsha South Railway Station, and two trains from Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station (Guangzhou East Railway Station) to Changsha South Railway Station. These additional trains aim to facilitate travel between Guangdong and Hunan provinces.

To further facilitate passenger travel in Guangdong province, China Railway Guangzhou Group will add 16 high-speed trains on the Hangzhou-Shenzhen, Guangzhou-Shanwei, and Jiangmen-Zhanjiang railways from July 11 to 14. Among them, four night high-speed trains will be added from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Zhanjiang West Railway Station.

During the summer holidays, the railway department will flexibly and dynamically arrange the capacity according to the passengers' demand and ticket pre-sale conditions. Passengers are suggested to pay attention to station announcements, the official accounts of "Guang Zhou Tie Lu" on Weibo, WeChat, and Douyin, or check the train departure information on the 12306.cn website and app.
