Sam's Club announces the official opening of its Liwan store in Guangzhou on Monday, December 22. This marks its third location in Guangzhou, bringing the total number of Sam's Club stores nationwide to 63.
Located at No. 1 Guanhai Road, Liwan District, the new store has prompted significant local infrastructure improvements. To accommodate expected traffic, the Liwan District authorities initiated road construction projects around the Lingnan V Valley area. The upgrades include the renovation and expansion of six roads totaling approximately 1.01 kilometers, featuring added lanes and new direct routes to the store. Several roads, including Guanhui 1st Street and Guanhui 2nd Street, have recently opened to traffic.
Public transportation services have also been enhanced. A new bus bay on Guanhai Road is nearing completion, and bus route networks in the vicinity are being optimized. Additional bus stops and routes, such as the 525 and 19 lines at the "Shawei Bridge" station, have been introduced to improve accessibility for residents.
The new store offers members a wide range of high-quality products, developed in collaboration with over a hundred local Guangzhou enterprises, including several from Liwan District. The selection includes nearly 400 items across fresh food, snacks, beverages, maternal and infant products, and home essentials.
Members can enjoy in-store experiences like product sampling and demonstrations.
