Liu Wei, Secretary of CPC Nansha District committee, highlighted the following key achievements of the first-phase implementation of the Overall Development Plan of Nansha (Nansha Plan) in an interview with GDToday. The Nansha Plan was officially launched on June 14, 2022.
Policy Benefits: The 15% corporate tax preferential policy and other incentives have exempted businesses from about 1.56 billion yuan.
Innovation Growth: The number of high-tech enterprises has increased to 1,310. The actual use of foreign capital reached 2.2 billion yuan.
Further Integration with Hong Kong and Macao: Nansha now hosts over 3,100 companies from Hong Kong and Macao, with residents enjoying convenient healthcare and tax policies.
Global Connectivity: Nansha Port ranks 9th worldwide in container volume. Its cross-border e-commerce import and export volume ranks first among China's comprehensive bonded zones.
