Shunde, a district of Foshan, has long been known for its manufacturing prowess and for its role in China's reform and opening-up.
The district is home to two major industrial clusters—home appliances and machinery—each with an annual output value of more than 300 billion yuan ($44 billion). It is now shifting from traditional manufacturing toward smart manufacturing.
