A delegation of senior officials from the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee visited Guangzhou's Jiu Nanhai Xian (Former Nanhai County) Community and several revolutionary sites on the afternoon of July 2 to learn about the city's urban renewal and grassroots governance, and to retrace the Vietnamese revolution footprints in Guangzhou.

At the community, the delegation inspected fire safety systems, elderly care services, the senior canteen, and the neighborhood committee office, and learned how Party-building leadership has fostered co-governance and shared benefits through micro-renovation projects.

The group then toured the former site of the Vietnamese Youth Political Training Class, where Comrade Ho Chi Minh once lived and worked. With help from the Communist Party of China, he founded the precursor to the Communist Party of Vietnam, published the first Marxist newspaper in Vietnamese, and trained early revolutionary cadres.

The officials took a group photo at this historic venue, which vividly preserves the revolutionary spirit of that era.

The visit ended with a solemn tribute at the Huanghuagang Mausoleum (Huanghuagang Seventy Two Martyrs Cemetery), where they laid flowers at the tomb of Comrade Pham Hong Thai, a Vietnamese martyr who sacrificed his life in Guangzhou in 1924.
These red landmarks stand as powerful witnesses to the revolutionary friendship between China and Vietnam, and continue to inspire younger generations of cadres to carry forward their shared revolutionary heritage.
