From June 7 to 8, 2025, the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Invitational Races were held at the Tsim Sha Tsui East Promenade in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The event brought together over 190 teams from 12 countries and regions, with more than 4,500 athletes competing for victory.
The Jiujiang Shuangzheng Women's Dragon Boat Team led the race.
Representing Jiujiang Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, the Xihao Jiujiang Dragon Boat Team and the Jiujiang Shuangzheng Women's Dragon Boat Team triumphed in four categories: the International Mixed Championship, International Women's Championship, International Mixed Gold Cup, and International Women's Gold Cup.
Highlights of the competition
A week earlier, at the 2025 SJM Macao International Dragon Boat Races, the Nanhai Jiujiang men's and women's teams also dominated, sweeping both championships and setting new event records.

Jiujiang Town boasts a rich dragon boat culture, with vibrant traditional activities held year-round. Since its establishment, the Jiujiang Dragon Boat Team has won over 800 medals in various competitions.
The Xihao Jiujiang Dragon Boat Team successfully defended their title as champions of the International Mixed Gold Cup.
