Global Artificial Intelligence Machines and Electronics Expo (AIE) to be held in Zhuhai and Macao

The Global Artificial Intelligence Machines and Electronics Expo (AIE) will be held in Zhuhai and Macao from December 4 to 6, 2025 in a "one exhibition, two cities" format. The three-day event will be open to professional visitors for the first two days and to the public on the third day.

Themed "Bay Area Intelligent Manufacturing, Global Sharing," the expo will feature six themed pavilions.

In Macao, the focus will be on smart electronic products, with three pavilions including the Smart Communication and IoT Pavilion. In Zhuhai, the emphasis will be on smart machinery, featuring three pavilions such as the Smart Equipment and Industrial Internet Pavilion.

The expo will combine forums and exhibitions, hosting over 50 business-matching activities. The first roadshow will kick off in Beijing, with subsequent events in Germany, Thailand, Indonesia, and cities like Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Shenzhen.

AIE is expected to attract over 10,000 domestic and international buyers, facilitating connections between local businesses and the global tech industry chain. It will support Macao's development of a smart tech innovation ecosystem, encourage Macao businesses to go global, and boost local hotels, dining, retail, and tourism.

Guangdong and Macao will enhance support by operating direct buses between Macao-Zhuhai and Hong Kong-Zhuhai for the expo, offering VIP airport channels in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and implementing visa and customs facilitation measures.

The Zhuhai venue will be at the Zhuhai International Convention and Exhibition Center. During the expo, Zhuhai will launch 10 additional bus routes to the venue and coordinate taxi and ride-hailing services via a smart system. Customs and immigration departments will provide 24-hour clearance services.

The Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin will use this expo to promote policy application scenarios and attract tech-innovation enterprises to Hengqin, Macao, and other bay-area cities.

Hengqin and Macao are also jointly developing a China-Portugal trade and investment platform to serve Chinese and Portuguese/Spanish-speaking enterprises online and offline.

The expo will connect with a Greater Bay Area tech-industry fund exceeding 30 billion yuan to support cutting-edge technologies launched on the AIE platform.
