Guangdong secured the women's basketball crown at the 15th National Games on the night of November 15th after defeating Sichuan 74–68 in a tightly contested final in Shunde, Foshan.

The victory completed a sweep of the tournament's senior basketball events for the host province, following the men's team's win over Zhejiang earlier in the week.

The matchup brought together many of China's top national-team players and marked the second high-stakes meeting between the two sides this year, after their clash in the WCBA Finals. Guangdong relied on consistent scoring from Yang Shuyu, Chen Mingling and Huang Sijing, building a seven-point lead in the opening quarter and maintaining a narrow advantage at halftime.

After halftime, the pace picked up. Sichuan rotated some of their main players, and Guangdong took advantage, ending the third quarter ahead 59–56. In the final quarter, both sides tightened their defense, but Guangdong's national-team players, led by Yang Shuyu, kept control and closed out a 74-68 win. Yang scored a game-high 22 points, and Chen Mingling added 18.
