A cold wave is expected to impact China starting March 25. In Guangdong, temperatures will rise briefly before dropping sharply, with Guangzhou's lows reaching 10 °C by March 30.

From March 24 to 26, most of Guangdong will experience dry and mostly sunny weather with temperatures rising, along with light fog in the mornings and evenings. On March 27, thunderstorms and strong convective weather will affect northern and central Guangdong, while scattered showers will occur elsewhere.
A new cold air mass will start impacting Guangdong on March 28, reaching the northern regions in the morning, and Guangzhou by night. This cold front will bring an average temperature drop of 10 °C across the province.
The weather in Guangzhou will be especially active this week, with a mix of sunshine, rain, and thunderstorms. On March 30, temperatures are expected to range from 10 °C to 16 °C, so residents are advised to stay updated on the latest weather forecasts and dress accordingly.
