The first snowfall of 2025 quietly arrived on Jinzi Mountain, a national 4A scenic area in Lianshan Zhuang and Yao Autonomous County, Qingyuan City, Northern Guangdong Province on February 3, the Start of Spring (Chinese: 立春)

As the cold air intensifies, multiple regions in Qingyuan have issued orange warnings of cold, and Jinzi Mountain is once again graced with beautiful snow and ice wonders.

Weather forecast for Qingyuan

On February 8, overcast skies will become cloudy in most regions of Qingyuan, with the lowest temperatures ranging from 2°C to 6°C and the highest temperatures varying from 8°C to 12°C. In high-altitude mountainous areas, frost or freeze is expected, with lows dropping to -4°C to 0°C.

From February 9 to 10, it will be mostly sunny with some clouds. On February 9, due to clear-sky radiation, morning temperatures will drop to 1-5°C (with -6°C to 0°C in high-altitude mountainous areas, accompanied by freezing or frost conditions). Daytime temperatures will gradually rise.
