The 2025 Gaokao, China's national college entrance examination, will start on June 7. While Guangdong is not expected to experience widespread heat waves during the exam period, high humidity will make the weather feel stuffy and oppressive.

Scattered showers or thunderstorms are likely across many parts of the province, though large-scale heavy rainfall is not forecast. Temperatures in central and northern Guangdong are expected to reach 35℃–37℃, with some localities climbing to 38℃. Students are advised to carry umbrellas to protect against sudden downpours and to take precautions against heat-related discomfort.
To assist the public, Guangdong has launched localized weather updates for the 501 Gaokao test centers. Real-time weather information can be accessed through several digital platforms, including the WeChat mini-programs "缤纷微天气", "雷达精灵", "停课铃", and "粤省事", as well as through the official WeChat accounts "广东省教育考试院" and "广东天气".
