Recently, Dianbai agarwood made its debut at the 2025 International Tasting and Promotion Event for Maoming Specialty Agricultural Products held in Beijing. With its unique aroma, exquisite processing techniques, and rich cultural connotation, it attracted a number of guests at the event.
Dianbai is known as the "Hometown of Agarwood in China." Currently, the cultivated area of agarwood stands at over 130,000 mu (about 8,667 hectares), with the development of more than 100 products across seven categories, including daily chemicals, handicrafts, incense, and tea, contributing to an annual industrial output value exceeding 5 billion yuan.
Since 2024, people engaged in the Dianbai agarwood industry have accelerated their efforts to go global, striving to enhance the popularity and influence of Dianbai agarwood in overseas markets.
In September 2024, Dianbai agarwood obtained an export license for the first time, allowing the export of raw agarwood materials to Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, organizations such as the Dianbai Agarwood Association have vigorously organized member enterprises to participate in exhibitions like the Xiamen International Buddhist Supplies Exhibition and Hainan Cross-Border Expo, showcasing the unique charm and industrial strength of Dianbai agarwood.
Previously, the Dianbai Agarwood Association, Guangdong Xianfu Culture Media Co., Ltd., and Hainan International Resources (Group) Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement on the research and development of Dianbai agarwood culture and industry projects, as well as the exploration of overseas markets, aiding the layout of Dianbai agarwood in international markets.
