The Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin has opened applications for its 2025 support funding program, offering incentives of up to 3 million yuan ($440,000) to eligible Macao-funded construction companies and Macao professionals working in Hengqin.
Run by Hengqin's Urban Planning and Construction Bureau, the scheme aims to encourage greater participation by Macao enterprises and professionals in Hengqin's construction, engineering consultancy, urban planning, and public infrastructure sectors.
Applications are open until August 10, 2026, covering eligible activities carried out between January 1 and December 31, 2025.
Companies and individuals can submit applications through Hengqin's online government service platform.

The incentives range from 20,000 yuan to 3 million yuan, depending on the type of project or achievement. The largest awards are available to registered Macao companies that undertake or are subcontracted to work on eligible construction projects in Hengqin.
Additional incentives are available for Macao firms involved in award-winning construction, green building, and innovation projects, with recognized projects eligible for grants of up to 500,000 yuan.
The program also supports professional development for Macao residents employed in Hengqin. Those who obtain nationally recognized professional qualifications during the eligible period can receive a one-off subsidy of 30,000 yuan, with multiple qualifications qualifying for cumulative rewards.
