Heyuan toy exports reach RMB 540 million from January to April

From January to April this year, Heyuan in Guangdong Province exported toys worth RMB 540 million, up 2.3% year on year. Products ranging from plastic dolls and zinc-alloy toy cars to educational plastic toys have proved popular in overseas markets.

Recently, at a toy company's workshop in Heyuan, workers packed keychains, dolls, and other products for export. After passing customs inspection, goods worth more than RMB 1.1 million were shipped by sea to markets including Australia, Japan, and South Korea.

The toy industry is one of Heyuan's key export sectors, with 11 enterprises in the city engaged in processing trade. To support their overseas expansion, customs authorities provide timely guidance on international technical standards and market access requirements, while helping companies fully leverage tariff concessions under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and other free trade agreements. These efforts help reduce trade costs and boost the industry's global competitiveness.
