Guangzhou Metro Line 10 from Xilang (西塱) to Yangji East (杨箕东), the eastern segment of Line 12 from Ersha Island (二沙岛) to Higher Education Mega Center South (大学城南), and the western segment from Xunfenggang (浔峰岗) to Guangzhou Gymnasium (广州体育馆) are set to open in 2025, according to a recently updated network map for Guangzhou Metro.
Wuyangcun (五羊邨) station, an interchange station for Line 5 and Line 10, will offer temporary out-of-station transfers.
A new station named Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station on Line 12 is under construction. When the new line opens, travelers will have a new option to access Baiyun Station.
Lines 12 and 10 form Guangzhou's X-shaped metro grid. Line 12 spans approximately 37.6 kilometers, while Line 10 stretches 17.2 kilometers, featuring 12 stations and an estimated end-to-end journey time of 27 minutes.
You can check the updated network map with the new routes at Wanshengwei (万胜围) station on Line 8 and Line 11, and Yuancun (员村) station on Line 4 and Line 8.
