Heavy to torrential rain is expected to lash most cities and counties in Guangdong from the night of June 13 through June 14, with extreme downpours forecast for parts of the southern coast, according to meteorological authorities.
The severe weather will disrupt railway operations. Some train services on the Beijing–Guangzhou Railway, Beijing–Kowloon Railway, and Hangzhou–Shenzhen Railway will be suspended on June 14-15.
