On June 20, local time in Singapore, a series of cultural events celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival were held with great enthusiasm, organized by Singapore's Teochew Federation.
At the invitation of the Federation, the Chaoyang All-Female Yingge Troupe and the Chen Xiaoyan Paper-cutting Art Center from Shantou, Guangdong, traveled to Singapore. They presented two spectacular performances of intangible cultural heritage at Kallang Riverside and Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza.

At noon, the Kallang Riverside was the first to embrace the festive atmosphere of the Dragon Boat Festival parade. Dressed in distinctive costumes, the women of the Yingge troupe marched onto the stage with steady steps, powerful drumsticks, and dynamic formations, vividly showcasing the grandeur and heroism of Chaoyang Yingge, recognized as a national-level intangible cultural heritage item.
Nearby, the Chen Xiaoyan Paper-Cutting Art Center displayed an array of exquisite Chaoyang paper-cutting works. Master artisans demonstrated their skills on site, bringing to life birds, flowers, fish, and insects with every precise snip of their scissors.
In the afternoon, the parade made its way to Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, one of Singapore's major commercial hubs. Young women carrying flower baskets and models dressed in costumes inspired by Chaoyang paper-cutting art gracefully strolled through the bustling shopping district.

The venue was packed with spectators, including Teochew compatriots who have long lived in Singapore, local residents, and visitors from around the world. For these people, it was their first opportunity to experience Yingge dance and Chaoyang paper-cutting up close. In particular, they were deeply impressed by the majestic and powerful spirit embodied in Chaoyang Yingge.
