Spring blossoms paint Yunfu's landscape scarlet

From the mountain peaks to city corners and country roads, spring has painted Yunfu in red and golden hues.

At 1,251 meters above sea level, Tianlu Mountain's rhododendron festival recently opened. This floral wonderland will remain open until late April. Home to South China's largest alpine rhododendron landscape, Tianlu Mountain boasts over 900 varieties of rhododendrons. In addition to flowers, Tianlu Mountain offers popular attractions like a glass walkway, rafting, and ziplining. A 1-billion-yuan Zen wellness center is also set to open this year.

In downtown Yunfu, Melaleuca viminalis (also known as weeping bottlebrush) trees are in full bloom.

Meanwhile, at the northwest foothills of Yalou Mountain, Dajiangtou Village (大江头村) in Qianfeng Town is bursting with golden trumpet trees, bauhinia, and bougainvillea. In recent years, more villagers have been planting trees and flowers around their homes.

The magenta bougainvillea is particularly striking.

In the village park, golden trumpet trees bloom vibrantly, while rows of bauhinia sway in the breeze, adding a soft, romantic touch to the spring landscape.
