February 28, 2025, marks the 37th anniversary of the establishment of Qingyuan City in Guangdong Province. On this day, Qingyuan will hold the 2025 Economic and Trade Fair, as well as the Ceremony of Concentrated Signing, Construction and Operation of Major Projects in the First Quarter at the Banquet Hall A of the Qingyuan International Hotel.

In 2024, Qingyuan achieved a 10.4% growth in the added value of industrial enterprises above a designated size, ranking first in Guangdong in terms of growth rate, while its local general public budget revenue increased by 7.1%, placing it third in the province in growth rate. In the future, Qingyuan will continue to leverage "three major engines", which include green industries, ecological agriculture, and ecological cultural tourism industries, to shape itself into the top choice for industrial transfer, a reliable supplier of high-quality agricultural products, and an ideal tourist destination in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

As the "backyard garden of the Greater Bay Area", Qingyuan boasts rich natural resources and well-developed transportation infrastructure. Meanwhile, the city's emerging industries have also invigorated its development.
In recent years, Qingyuan's industrial parks have vigorously promoted infrastructure construction and improved the supporting services within the parks in an effort to create a first-class business environment. Moreover, since it has specifically formulated support policies for entrepreneurs and talent, there are an increasing number of entrepreneurs who feel reassured about investing, starting businesses, and developing in the area. Also, Qingyuan is making continuous efforts to expand its "circle of friends" for investment promotion in the Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Delta.
