Starting September 30, 2025, the 2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Communication Competition for College Students is open for submissions. Entries are welcome until December 31, 2025, from university students worldwide, including undergraduates, master's students, and doctoral candidates.
Hosted by the School of Journalism and Communication at Sun Yat-sen University and South, this contest celebrates the power of young storytellers. Whether you want to capture the Greater Bay Area's innovation and vitality through videos or photography, document cultural exchanges in writing, or envision a greener future with multimedia creativity, this will be your platform.
This year's contest invites works that explore "China Stories," "Greater Bay Area Development," "Dialogue Among Civilizations and Trust Rebuilding," "Technological Innovation and Future Society," "Climate Action and Green Transformation," "Youth Power and Global Governance," and other topics.
Entries are accepted across six categories: written reports, data journalism, audio/video, documentary photography, multimedia works (web, H5, etc.), and games & animation. Expert judges will select winners for each category, with First, Second, and Third Prizes awarded. Winners will be honored at the award ceremony in March 2026, where prizes and certificates will be presented.
