The 135th session of the China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, will be held in Guangzhou from April 15 to May 5.
In order to showcase Guangzhou's warm and inclusive hospitality, the city has comprehensively improved the quality of services in terms of dining, accommodation, transportation, and recreation for the merchants attending the Canton Fair during their stay.

Heartwarming "Guangzhou-style" service
To fully ensure a safe, orderly, and civilized tourism market, Guangzhou has organized a special safety training program, attended by a total of 80 people including safety managers from 63 hotels in the city.

In order to facilitate convenient payment during the fair for a large number of inbound merchants, additional foreign currency exchange machines and mobile point-of-sale (POS) devices will be added. Meanwhile, Guangzhou has not only publicized convenient payment services on nearly a thousand electronic display screens at tourism venues but also issued payment manuals at hotels, scenic spots, and public cultural venues.
During each session of the Canton Fair, hotels in Guangzhou provide thoughtful and considerate services for international guests. Examples abound, such as offering free shuttle buses to the exhibition halls, early bird discounts, dining discounts, and other exclusive benefits.

To showcase Guangzhou's unique tourism resources and meet the sightseeing demands of domestic and international exhibitors during the Canton Fair, the city of Guangzhou has newly launched 40 distinctive one-day tour routes.
Yongqing Fang
A-grade tourist attractions, hotels, and travel agencies throughout the city have introduced exclusive specialty products and preferential treatments for attendees. For instance, attractions such as Chimelong and Canton Tower offer discounted tickets to exhibitors who present their exhibition certificates. The 2024 Orchid Cultural and Tourism Week will kick off from April 13 to April 17 in Guangzhou's Yuexiu District. Canton Orchid Garden welcomes you to experience ten major traditional cultural activities.

Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism organized the Puning Nanshan Yingge Dance Troupe to perform in the opening performance of the Canton Fair.

During the same period, multiple theaters in Guangzhou will present various genres of performances from different eras and cultures, including the premiere of the Cantonese opera Shuangxiu Yuan and the French musical Don Juan at the Guangzhou Opera House on April 23 and April 12-14 respectively.
