Chinese destroyer Shenzhen docks for public visit on October 1-2 | Destination Shenzhen

On September 28, at 10:13 AM, the Chinese navy's Type 051B destroyer Shenzhen docked at the Shekou Cruise Homeport in Nanshan District, Shenzhen.

As the first warship fully developed by China, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy's destroyer Shenzhen was officially commissioned under the name "Shenzhen" in 1998. Since its commissioning, the Shenzhen warship has continuously set new records for the PLA Navy and has been hailed as the "Diplomatic Superstar" and the "Number One Warship of China."

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the South China Sea Fleet will host warship open day events in Shenzhen, Zhanjiang, and other locations during the National Day holiday.

From October 1 to October 2, the public can board the destroyer Shenzhen in Shenzhen for a close-up view of the entire ship for free, and online reservation is required.
