A trade event titled "Guangdong Goods, Global Reach: Zhongshan Products in Shenzhen" will take place on February 7-8 at the OH Bay "Bay Glory" Ferris Wheel Square in Shenzhen's Bao'an District. The event will feature a range of Zhongshan-made goods, including home appliances, furniture, consumer electronics, clothing, and daily necessities.
The exhibition is organized into six themed sections. More than 100 companies will display products in the "Smart Manufacturing Zhongshan" zone, while about 65 local food producers will offer specialties such as roasted pigeon, Xiaolan fried fish balls, and Sanxiang tea cakes in the "Delicious Zhongshan" area. Other zones will promote tourism, real estate, and cultural offerings.
Live streaming will be integrated throughout the event, with over 140 companies hosting online sales via platforms such as Douyin, Taobao Live, and Kuaishou. E-commerce partners are supporting the event with dedicated landing pages and traffic incentives. Meituan, for example, will provide hotel vouchers worth up to 200 yuan for stays in Zhongshan.
On-site discounts will also be available. Shoppers can scan a mini-program code to receive vouchers offering 5 yuan off purchases of 25 yuan or 40 yuan off orders over 200 yuan. Daily dining and accommodation coupons will be issued through UnionPay and Meituan.
Visitors exploring property developments in Zhongshan can obtain a special 30,000 yuan home-purchase voucher. Those who tour participating real estate projects will also receive a voucher for a complimentary pigeon meal at a restaurant on Sun Wen Pedestrian Street.
The event follows the recent opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, which has reduced travel time between the two cities to around 30 minutes, facilitating greater regional exchange.
