Jiangmen holds promotional event at airport to extend invitation to all for spring festival celebrations

Jiangmen has held a promotional event titled "Come to Jiangmen for the Chinese New Year" at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport recently, featuring intangible cultural heritage flash mob performances and an exhibition of nearly 300 Jiangmen specialty products, offering foreign travelers a festive glimpse of the city's cultural appeal with lion dancing and martial arts displays.

Following the event, Jiangmen announced the opening schedules of 11 Spring Festival flower fairs across Pengjiang District, Jianghai District, and Xinhui District, offering residents and visitors diverse options to enjoy traditional Chinese New Year customs.

Pengjiang District

Wuyi Overseas Chinese Square Spring Festival Flower Fair (五邑华侨广场迎春花市)

Date: February 10–16, 2026

Featuring over 230 booths and two parking lots, the fair offers traditional New Year goods, kumquat trees and festival flowers, alongside coffee-themed exhibitions, booths and photo spots. Live music performances are staged daily.

Huahong International Auto City Spring Festival Flower Fair (华鸿国际车城迎春花市)

Date: February 6–16, 2026

With more than 130 booths and ample parking, the fair provides one-stop shopping for New Year supplies, including festival flowers, kumquat trees and Spring Festival couplets.

Wuyi Creative Industry Park Spring Festival Flower Fair (五邑创意产业园迎春花市)

Date: February 1–16, 2026

The fair hosts over 150 booths focusing on New Year decorations, kumquat trees, festival flowers and specialty goods.

Binjiang Dynamic Sports Park Spring Festival Flower Fair (滨江悦动体育公园迎春花市)

Date: February 6–16, 2026

With more than 50 booths, the fair offers flowers, kumquat trees, Spring Festival couplets, New Year goods and cultural and creative products.

In addition, smaller flower sales areas will be set up at locations such as Fengyue Square in Tangxia Town (棠下凤樾广场) to further meet residents' needs.

Jianghai District

Happy World Spring Festival Flower Fair (欢乐世界迎春花市)

Date: February 1–16, 2026

Integrating flower sales with leisure and entertainment, the park-themed fair features 80 booths offering flowers, kumquat trees and local snacks, allowing visitors to enjoy the park by day and the flower fair by night.

Donghuicheng Spring Festival Flower Fair (东汇城迎春花市)

Date: February 7–16, 2026

With about 16 booths, the fair mainly sells flowers, kumquat trees and penjing (potted landscapes).

Yueshengxi Road (Xinmin Village) Spring Festival Flower Fair (新民村乐盛西路迎春花市)

Date: February 5–16, 2026

Around 100 booths showcase festival flowers, kumquat trees, New Year goods, cultural and creative products and local specialties.

Masan Village Spring Festival Flower Fair (麻三村迎春花市)

Date: February 1–16, 2026

The fair features approximately 25 booths selling flowers, kumquat trees, penjing, and New Year goods.

Nanhua Garden (Waihai Subdistrict) Spring Festival Flower Fair (外海街道南华花园迎春花市)

Date: February 5–16, 2026

With about 20 booths, the fair focuses on festival flowers, kumquat trees and New Year supplies.

Xinhui District

Xinhui Darongcheng Creative Flower Fair (新汇大融城创意花市)

Date: February 3–16, 2026

The fair includes more than 70 booths, featuring festival flowers, kumquat trees, Spring Festival couplets, New Year goods, interactive games and an automobile exhibition area.

Gangzhou Square Spring Festival Flower Fair (冈州广场迎春花市)

Date: February 3–16, 2026

With around 60 booths, the fair highlights kumquat trees, festival flowers, Spring Festival couplets and handcrafted items.

Through these festive events, Jiangmen is extending a warm Chinese New Year welcome to visitors from around the world.
