Three female Chinese tourists have drawn praise on social media for their quick thinking after they took control of an airport bus whose driver lost consciousness on a highway near Seoul on July 11, bringing it to a halt without injuries.

The 6015 bus was running from Seoul to Incheon Airport around midday with about 20 passengers aboard, most of them Chinese nationals. It veered left, struck a guardrail, and swerved back toward the center of the road after the driver passed out at the wheel.
Li, a passenger jolted awake by the sudden impact, rushed to the driver's seat. Sun and her friend Du joined Li. The three steadied the steering wheel, hit the brakes, and engaged the handbrake, bringing the bus to a safe stop within two minutes.

Sun then directed passengers to open the doors while Li called emergency services in Korean. Other passengers took turns performing CPR on the driver until help arrived.
"What moved me most was the understanding among all the Chinese women onboard," Sun wrote on social media. "In a foreign country, everyone stayed calm, followed instructions, and supported each other. This is the kindness and courage engraved in our genes."
No passengers were injured in the incident. The driver was taken to a hospital.
