The Mid-Autumn Festival holiday is approaching! How to celebrate? There are four places you must not miss in Nanshan, Shenzhen.
01 Nantou City
Address: 2 Nantou Jiaochang, Shennan Boulevard (深南大道南头较场2号)
Nantou City has hung traditional lanterns made by craftsmen from the Chaoshan region in Guangdong province and Dongyang city in Zhejiang province, fostering a strong festival atmosphere.
Nantou City is set to organize a variety of activities, including lantern viewing, mooncake making, and pomelo lantern crafting.
In addition, a 3D Mapping themed on the festival will be performed for three consecutive days from September 15 to September 17.
02 Netherlands Flower Town
Address: 3008 Yueliangwan Dadao (月亮湾大道3008号)
Focusing on traditional culture, Dutch Flower Town will host a party together with street merchants. Many activities will be organized to attract customers' attention, including guessing flower riddles, wearing hairpin flowers, and making lacquer-coated fans. Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) performances will also be organized here.
A concert will be held on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Three groups of Shenzhen's emerging musicians will perform songs that revolve around the themes of classic Hong Kong tunes, the poetic essence of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the romance of reunions.
03 Zhongshan Park
Address: 3109 Nanshan Boulevard (南山大道3109号)
At sunset, romantic music will be sung in Zhongshan Park, where you can dance with your family or friends.
04 The Shekou Culture and Sports Park
Address: 120 meters west of the intersection of Zhaoshang East Road and Houhaibin Road (招商东路与后海滨路交叉口西120米)
World champions Wang Liuyi and Wang Qianyi, who won China's first-ever Olympic duet gold medal in artistic swimming at the Paris Olympic Games this year, will come to Shekou Culture and Sports Park. They will share the stories behind their victory. Furthermore, the public can participate in fun games suitable for both adults and children.
