The 140th Canton Fair will open on October 15 in Guangzhou, with updated arrangements for overseas buyers applying for and using buyer badges.
New applications, replacements and renewals are all free of charge. Buyers who already hold a valid Overseas Buyer Badge issued at a previous Canton Fair session can enter the Canton Fair Complex directly after verification. No badge activation is required.

Overseas Buyer Badges issued on the basis of a work visa at or before the 134th Canton Fair are no longer valid. Holders will need to apply for a Purchasing Agent Badge to attend the fair.
Overseas buyers should prepare the following documents to apply.
1. One of the following original valid ID documents:
Foreign passport
Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents
Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents
Chinese passport together with an overseas permanent residence permit or permanent residence visa.
2. Business card
3. Pre-registration QR code receipt

Buyers can collect the badges at the Canton Fair Complex or alternative registration offices.

Buyers holding a foreign passport, a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, or a Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents are encouraged to collect their Overseas Buyer Badge at designated alternative registration offices for faster processing.

Buyers holding a Chinese passport together with a permanent residence permit or visa must apply at the registration offices inside the Canton Fair Complex, as their applications cannot be processed at the alternative registration offices.
