Guided by the principles of mutual trust and shared benefit, the two sides will deepen collaboration in business operations, platform development, and capital cooperation. Their goal is to create a three-dimensional logistics network that links the Belt and Road, serves central and western China, and extends to Southeast Asia, improving efficiency and reducing costs for overseas cargo transport.
Looking ahead, the partnership will leverage Zhanjiang's strategic position as a key node connecting the New Western Land-Sea Corridor with the Hainan Free Trade Port, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the Belt and Road Initiative. The two parties will promote the integrated development of transportation, logistics, commerce, and industry across the corridor.
By adopting a "corridor + hub + industry" model, they will support two-way freight train services to transport agricultural and industrial products from Guiyang and surrounding areas. This approach aims to foster a virtuous cycle of industrial growth driven by ports and urban development powered by industry, while strengthening direct logistics links between southwestern inland regions and coastal ports.
