Guangdong has enjoyed sunny and warm weather this week, with temperatures surpassing 30°C in many areas on March 25, and even reaching 34.4°C in Lianzhou, Qingyuan. However, a strong cold front is currently moving south from northern China and is expected to reach northern Guangdong in the early hours of March 28, Guangzhou by the morning, and the southern coastal areas by nightfall. A sharp temperature drop will follow.

The cold front will continue to strengthen on March 29-30, bringing prolonged rain and a further drop in temperatures. The central and northern regions will feel cold, while the south will be noticeably cooler. The highest temperature this weekend is expected to drop to around 17-18°C, with a smaller daily temperature range. Dress warmly to prevent colds!
