Recently, Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Company's asphalt has been successfully applied to the expansion project of Xieng Khouang Airport in Laos, which is an important progress for Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Company in developing the asphalt market in the "Belt and Road" participating countries and regions.

It is understood that the expansion project of Xieng Khouang Airport in Laos is a key project for the local government to promote economic development and enhance air transport capacity.
Since the beginning of this year, Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Company has continued exploring the overseas asphalt market. After learning about the needs of the Xieng Khouang Airport expansion project in Laos, it has produced 2,300 tons of "Grade 70 asphalt with high elongation for export" on a customized basis according to the requirements of customers.
The asphalt has the characteristics of good low-temperature ductility, strong aging resistance, excellent physical properties, and chemical stability. It can meet the requirements of airport runways for high strength and durability of materials.
During the product delivery process, Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Company timely completed product sampling and testing, export stocking, and associated operations, winning the recognition of customers for Sinopec asphalt.
