Roller-skating competition‌ of 15th National Games concluded in Huizhou

The roller-skating competition of the 15th National Games concluded in Huizhou on October 19, awarding eight gold medals. Guangdong won one gold, two silvers, and three bronzes.

The competition included speed and freestyle inline skating, as well as single-row inline hockey, attracting 24 teams and nearly 400 athletes nationwide, showcasing China's top inline skating talent.

From October 18 to 19, the speed inline skating events at Huizhou Sports School featured fierce competition in the men's and women's team point races and the mixed 3000m relay. Athletes from Guangdong, all hailing from Huizhou, won a silver in the mixed relay and two bronzes in the team point races.

In the mixed 3000m relay, Chen Bo, Feng Jinbao, Ma Shihuai, and Qiu Shihan reached the final with the top qualifying time but narrowly lost the gold to Zhejiang by a fraction of a second.

On October 19, Guangdong's single-row inline hockey team defeated Beijing 3-1 in the men's final, scoring early and maintaining pressure through tactical adjustments to secure the gold medal.
