On July 2, representatives from 23 member and observer states of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) visited the China Southern Power Grid Science and Technology Exchange Center, XPENG Guangzhou Intelligent Manufacturing Base, and Guangzhou GSK Vocational Training Institute for distinctive technical exchanges.
Youth representatives from various countries visited Guangzhou's industrial sites to immerse themselves in China's cutting-edge advances in scientific and technological innovation, smart manufacturing, and industry-education integration. Through on-site observations and exchanges, they gained firsthand insight into the innovative vitality of China's industrial sector.

The China Southern Power Grid Science and Technology Exchange Center officially opened to the public at the end of 2024. It showcases key achievements in scientific and technological innovation within China's power and energy sector and serves as a window for the world to understand China's energy transition.
At the XPENG Guangzhou Intelligent Manufacturing Base, from the brand showroom to the production workshops, visitors were able to observe up close the entire process of smart vehicle production—from R&D to mass production. Employees worked side by side with robots to assemble painted car bodies and tens of thousands of components into smart AI vehicles capable of "interaction and autonomous driving."

The Guangzhou GSK Vocational Training Institute is a national training base for high-skilled talent. During the visit, participants witnessed practical training scenarios firsthand. Its "school-within-a-factory, factory-within-a-school" educational model closely aligned skills training with corporate needs. This practice, which organically integrates vocational education with corporate production requirements, provided participants with an in-depth understanding of China's efforts and achievements in aligning skilled talent development with industrial demands.
