4 waves of cold front forecast during the Spring Festival travel rush

During the 2024 Spring Festival travel rush, Guangzhou is expected to experience higher temperatures and more rainfall than normal, according to the Guangzhou Meteorological Observatory.

Four waves of cold front are anticipated, with a strong one from February 3 to 6, a moderate one from February 9 to 11, and two weak ones from February 20 to 22, and February 28 to March 2 (weak).

There is little possibility of natural disasters such as prolonged low temperatures, heavy rainfall, snow, and freezing conditions, according to the weather forecast. However, attention should be paid to traffic safety, as periodic low temperatures, snowy weather, and poor visibility may occur.
