Major commercial complexes in Chancheng will roll out a variety of new holiday experiences. Foshan WALKIN will present the national debut of Cat Art Holiday, alongside wonderful performances such as the Ziwei Drama & Art Season. Foshan Creative Industry Park will host eight themed events, including electronic music bands, K-pop random dance, live-action role-playing games, and Kung Fu night market. Drawing inspiration from the white magnolia (the city flower of Foshan), Lingnan Xintiandi will create an elegant Lingnan summer consumption scene through the White Magnolia Art Market and floral installations.
Visitors to Chancheng can also immerse themselves in intangible cultural heritage (ICH). Centering on lion dance, martial arts, Cantonese opera, guqin, and other ICH items, Chancheng will hold a series of cultural shows and interactive activities. From May 1 to 5, the Ancestral Temple will stage 7 Wong Fei-hung martial arts and lion dance shows and one Cantonese opera performance at Wanfu Stage every day, showcasing the vitality of Lingnan folk customs. In May, visitors can also participate in the immersive night tour Joy in Liang Garden at Foshan Liang Garden, and experience the lifestyle of Lingnan literati.
