On June 17, a trading market specializing in lychees opened in Lilin Town, Huizhou Zhongkai Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone. People can not only purchase the high-quality fruit there, but also enjoy discounted mailing services for lychees at the on-site logistics point.
As one of Huizhou's main lychee-producing areas, Lilin Town boasts a planting area of approximately 20,500 mu (about 1,367 hectares). It abundantly produces varieties such as Feizixiao, Guiwei, and Nuomici. This year's total output is expected to reach 6,000 tons.
During the opening ceremony, Lilin Town also released a lychee-picking map and a related travel route. Following the map and route guides, visitors can experience the joy of lychee-picking while appreciating the area's natural scenery and cultural charm.
To boost lychee sales, companies from Qiling Village, Panli Village, and Junziying Village also signed lychee supply agreements with some local food and logistics corporations.
