Dongguan recently hosted the "Dongguan Tour for the Consular Corps in Guangzhou," welcoming consular officials and their family members from over 30 countries, including Germany, Italy, and Singapore. The delegation toured around the Dongguan Binhaiwan Bay Area, gaining firsthand insights into the region's latest achievements in artificial intelligence, high-end manufacturing, and quality urban development. Key stops for the visit included the National AI Application Pilot Base, the OPPO Smart Park in Binhaiwan Bay Area, and MIXC VILLAGE.

At the National AI Application Pilot Base, consular officials received a detailed briefing on the facility's development framework and learned about its comprehensive service capabilities, spanning from technology validation to industrialization.

The delegation then visited the OPPO Smart Park in the Binhaiwan Bay Area. With a total investment of nearly 10 billion yuan, the park has attracted over 10,000 high-end R&D and engineering professionals, serving as a key hub in OPPO's global strategy. At OPPO's brand exhibition hall, visitors explored the company's latest breakthroughs in imaging, fast charging, and foldable screens, as well as its impressive performance in the global market in recent years.

The visit concluded at MIXC VILLAGE, the first large-scale commercial project in the Dongguan Binhaiwan Bay Area. Officials experienced its distinctive blend of commerce, cultural tourism, and natural scenery. Many noted that the project not only demonstrates the region's high-standard urban amenities but also reflects Dongguan's sincerity and appeal in attracting international talent.

The event provided foreign consular officials stationed in Guangzhou with a firsthand experience of Dongguan's economic and social development. It also established a new platform for the Binhaiwan Bay Area to expand international exchanges and cooperation within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
