"Guangdong Goods Go Global" autumn initiative opens new sourcing window for global buyers

Global buyers will get a closer look at Guangdong's manufacturing strengths on July 24, when the province launches the autumn initiative of its year-round "Guangdong Goods Go Global" campaign in Guangzhou, the provincial capital.

The campaign aims to connect high-quality Guangdong-made products with domestic and international markets. At the launch ceremony, several foreign chambers of commerce and business associations are expected to release procurement needs, creating a direct channel between overseas buyers and Guangdong suppliers. Guangdong will also unveil a curated "Guangdong Quality Products" list, recognizing 100 standout local brands and products known for quality, innovation, design and market potential.

Held concurrently from July 24 to 26, the 2026 Guangdong Quality Products Exhibition will further spotlight the province's consumer and manufacturing capabilities. As a provincial brand event dedicated to selecting and recommending quality local products, the exhibition is designed to promote Guangdong goods and support the broader goals of the "Guangdong Goods Go Global" campaign.

This year's exhibition will cover more than 70,000 square meters and feature seven themed halls, including home appliances, consumer electronics, fashion and beauty, toys and cultural creativity, food ingredients, home textiles and quality products from other Chinese provinces. Around 1,500 exhibitors and more than 4,000 buyers are expected to attend.

"Guangdong Goods Go Global" is a year-round provincial campaign that promotes Guangdong products through exhibitions, buyer matchmaking, livestreaming, e-commerce promotions, industry roadshows and cultural tourism events.

In the first half of 2026, the campaign organized more than 900 key events, involved over 30,000 companies, gained support from more than 10 leading e-commerce platforms and generated over 650 billion yuan in direct sales and intended production-and-sales deals. These figures underscore the scale of the campaign, and the autumn initiative signals a more targeted push to match Guangdong suppliers with global demand.
