Guangdong athletes maintained their lead on May 10 as the 15th National Games' orienteering and radio direction events for the masses continued into their third day at Maoming's Civic Park.

In the women's short-distance orienteering race, Su Dongzi of Team Guangdong took first place with a time of 14 minutes and 13 seconds, following teammate Wei Suyi's earlier win in the middle-distance event. In the men's race, Shanghai's Jiang Yuan secured first place, with Shandong and Zhejiang runners finishing second and third.

Guangdong also leads the men's team standings in the radio direction-finding events. Liu Muxi claimed victory in the 3.5MHz short-distance race, building on Huang Zixi's win in the standard-distance event. In the women's race, Hubei's Zhang Yaxuan finished in first place.

The competition will conclude on May 11 with long-distance orienteering and 144MHz standard-distance radio events, where the final four gold medals will be decided.
