The first train of Guangzhou Metro Line 11 recently arrived at Chisha Depot. According to Guangzhou Metro, with the progress of construction, it will speed up commissioning and testing.

As the first loop line of Guangzhou Metro, Line 11 has the characteristics of long mileage and sufficient transfer stations, which can alleviate the traffic pressure in central Guangzhou. It is about 44.2 kilometers, all underground. Along the line, there are 32 stations, including 20 transfer stations and 1 depot at Chisha.
By the end of 2023, 96% of the civil works had been completed. Two stations, namely Yuancun and Tianhe Park, were opened, 28 stations had begun mechanical and electrical construction, one is under civil construction, and the other is in preparation.
The pearl-gray trains have a speed of 80 kilometers per hour, a length of 185.6 meters, a width of 3.09 meters, an interior height of 2.1 meters, and a passenger capacity of 3,460 people.

Line 11 is intelligent, energy-saving, safe, and comfortable. Efforts have been made to keep the loop line train stable, reduce noise, and purify the air. The equipment on the train can purify the air and disinfect the environment so as to improve the air quality of the carriages. The floor structure of passenger rooms can effectively control and reduce vehicle noise.
