A special exhibition of licensed merchandise for the 15th National Games has been set up at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport since the Spring Festival holiday season.

The showcase featured a variety of products, including items adorned with the event's mascots, "Xi Yangyang" and "Le Rongrong", which are inspired by the Chinese white dolphin, a first-class protected animal in China. These cheerful and lively characters embody the spirit of the Games and reflect the ecological and cultural richness of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Among the highlights were commemorative badges crafted using intangible cultural heritage techniques, silk scarves showcasing Cantonese embroidery, and tech-savvy items like temperature-sensitive color-changing mugs.

The National Games of China, often referred to as the "Chinese Olympics," is the country's largest and most prestigious multi-sport event, held every four years. It features a wide range of sports and attracts top athletes from across the nation. Scheduled for November this year, the 15th edition is co-hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, representing a significant step in regional cooperation and cultural exchange.
