Guangzhou's fashion brands secure bulk orders at 2026 Asia Fashion (Thailand) Show

A delegation of 127 premium fashion enterprises from Guangzhou wrapped up a highly successful run at the 2026 Asia Fashion (Thailand) Show earlier in July, securing a substantial number of orders.

The three-day event, held in Bangkok, served as a flagship stop under Guangzhou's serial trade promotion initiatives across the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in 2026.

Participating companies showcased the full spectrum of Guangzhou's fashion ecosystem—from apparel and handbags to cosmetics, accessories, and leather goods—engaging in precision sourcing talks with buyers across Southeast Asia.

The strong performance underscored Guangzhou's reputation as a global style hub. Many Guangzhou exhibitors reported on-site orders exceeding 1,000 pieces on the opening day alone, while a number of firms secured intended orders of over 20,000 units.

The 2026 Asia Fashion (Thailand) Show brought together more than 400 source manufacturers from 10 countries, spanning fabrics, leather, accessories, and finished goods. Over 25,600 professional buyers attended, representing brand owners, chain retailers, wholesale markets, cross-border agents, and corporate procurement executives from Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia, Poland, and beyond.

The Guangzhou delegation was actively engaged throughout the fair. Local Thai brands, Southeast Asian cross-border distributors, and Chinese export manufacturers exchanged insights on localized operations and cross-regional supply chain coordination, with a particular focus on tailoring Southeast Asian market entry solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Guangzhou. Local Thai media also gave extensive coverage to the exhibitors' product highlights, industry perspectives, and tangible deal-making results.

The Thailand showcase is part of Guangzhou's year-long trade promotion campaign targeting ASEAN, which is scheduled to host over 40 trade promotion activities across the region in 2026.

Following earlier appearances in Singapore and Vietnam in June, the Bangkok event marks another milestone as Guangzhou deepens its commercial footprint in one of the world's most dynamic consumer markets.
