As the 2026 FIFA World Cup quarterfinals heat up in North America, football fever is crossing the Pacific to southern China. On July 11, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Academy Greater Bay Area (GBA) will host a free youth football clinic at Puzhou Square in Guangzhou's Nansha District, featuring legendary PSG defender Bruno N'Gotty.

N'Gotty, who scored the winning goal in PSG's 1996 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup final victory, later played for AC Milan and Marseille. He now serves as the technical director of PSG Academy GBA. He will meet young players, answer questions, and lead training sessions with a team of UEFA-certified coaches.
The free tryout program is open to boys aged 10 to 17 and girls aged 13 to 15. Participants will be divided into four age groups, U10–U11, U12–U13, U14–U15, and U16–U17, for professional drills and interactive football games, with parents welcome to observe.

The event on July 11 marks the academy's first public open day since PSG Academy GBA signed a cooperation agreement with the Greater Bay Area Culture and Sports Center on June 11. This partnership brings PSG's European youth development model to the heart of the GBA.
In addition to the football clinic, visitors can meet N'Gotty, join interactive Q&A sessions, and take part in fun football games. On-site perks include raffle prizes such as comedy show tickets, water park vouchers, and summer camp passes. Families who sign up for the football summer camp during the event will receive exclusive PSG merchandise and have opportunities to get autographs and take photos with the PSG legend.
