From January 22 to 26, cultural tourism products of Heyuan, a prefectural-level city located in the northeast of Guangdong, made a stunning debut at the 45th International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR) in Madrid, Spain.

As one of the world's three major tourism trade fairs, the event is a grand gathering of the global tourism industry. This year, it attracted 101 country representations as well as more than 9,500 tourism enterprises spanning 156 countries and regions. The number of visitors is expected to exceed 250,000.
At this fair, China's exhibition stand themed "Nihao, China", uses green landscapes as its main visual element, which not only presents the achievements of "Beautiful China" construction to visitors but also highlights the development concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets".

As part of China's stand, Heyuan's cultural tourism products captivate audiences through promotional videos on large screens. These included "Dynamic Heyuan: Charming City", "Hakka Incense Fire Loong", and a showcase of the Wanlv Lake Tourist Resort, all vividly portraying Heyuan's rich cultural heritage and tourism resources.
Additionally, a series of targeted activities will be held to promote Heyuan, an ancient Hakka town, as a key tourism destination, featuring live presentations, brochure distribution, and souvenir giveaways.

Notably, this exhibition coincides with Wanlv Lake's successful designation as a National 5A Scenic Area. Heyuan is committed to developing a world-class "Lake+" high-quality tourism destination while advancing the protection and sustainable development of Wanlv Lake.
According to an official from the Heyuan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, Heyuan will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the international tourism market, fostering the high-quality development of its cultural and tourism industries.
